Pets and All Animaltastic Debate

Hand grenade:

If you live in a city in a such a way (maybe in block) that you cannot let your cat go out, then you are selfish and contribute to bad animal welfare. Owning indoor cats should be illegal everywhere, as long as it’s not a specific race of cats that cannot be outside (or if it has cat aids or something like that).

Owning a cat is not a Human Right, but most people selfishly treat it as such, and will tell themselves a lot of lies to justify keeping a cat penned in.

Love it !

I sadly cannot help you. I hope your husband will not suffer for this unfortunate mistake for too long

Keep it. It will bring a smile to your (lovely) face, and in every argument it will be the ace up your sleeve.

I just had to make a call to arrange for Apollo to be put down. He has aged really rapidly the last couple of months and he’s now at a place where he’s unhappy about everything and struggling to even to sit down, seemingly concerned that he knows it hurts when he tries to get back up. Last night he just stood for about 4 hours contemplating lying down but never quite mustering the courage to do it until he eventually fell over from tiredness.

I’ve been trying to convince Mrs Limie for a few weeks but she’s been in denial but she finally came around after seeing this. Of the two of us I’ve been the sober realist trying to speak to her about it dispassionately, but after I got off the phone with the vet I immediately jumped over to a work call and just burst into tears while apologizing for running a couple of minutes of late  :see_no_evil_monkey:

He’s going to be with us until Tuesday. Im not confident we’re going to be able to interest him in actually doing anything this weekend to give him a great send off, but we’ll try. Thanks for everything, buddy
