I dont know. As much as people may have enjoying his fall given the way he acted to get out of Liverpool, he is still a much better player than heāll have the platform to express it at Villa. It was a move that made sense on the shirt term as a loan, but youād have thought there would have been a better permanent move for him for this summer. Not that heās particularly justified with his Villa performances though

Phil needs to be wanted and loved. Stevie loved Phil when he was at Liverpool. Phil knows that Stevie knows what he can and canāt do, and that Stevie could get the best out of him. Philās no spring chicken, has won a fair bit at Barca and Bayern, but probably knows his best years were playing in England. Heās also better as a bigger fish in a smaller pond. This move prob suits him.

Well, yeah, I canāt imagine Pip would go Villa if it werenāt for Stevie. Then again, heās 29, has a bit of a reputation, and a moody back.

By agreeing to a 70% pay cut, Coutinho must be desperate to quit Barcelona. Likewise, Barcelona must be desperate to offload him, by accepting just Ā£17 million. Now heās ended up at Villa, I bet heās sorry he ever left Liverpool.

It couldnāt have worked out much better for Liverpool, which is all I really care about, but itās a warning to all players who think the grass is greener on the other side.
