It explains it all i guess. Two players from every premier league squad who would make the liverpool squad. Not the first xi. But the squad at the very least.
Arsenal - Saka , Martinelli
Aston Villa - Coutinho , Ramsey
Brentford - Canos , Toney
Brighton - Lallana (fitness permitting) , Bissouma
Burnley - Pope , Weghorst
Chelsea - Mendy , Reece James
Crystal Palace - Odsonne Edouard , Conor Gallager
Everton - NONE
Leeds - Raphinha , Kalvin phillips
Leicester - Tielemans , Ndidi
Man City - KDB , Cancelo
Man Utd - Sancho
Newcastle - Guimares , ASM
Norwich - Gilmour
Southampton - Livramento , James Ward Prowse
Tottenham - Son , Kulasevski
Watford - Sarr
Wolves - Neves , Jiminez
West Ham - Rice , Bowen
Any of these players in reality can play a squad role for liverpool with very few among them in contention for starting XI.
Really tried to see whether i could pick more from the sides where ive ended up choosing only one… But norwich and watford are certainities for relegation. Everton have no players who would even be squad players for liverpool. And sancho aside , no one from man utd would even fit our style.
It will be hard to find 38 guys who are willing to sit on our bench.
Or atleast 2 of the 38 guys…do the other clubs really have 2 players who at best warm our benches or make up the numbers ?
Thanks - I couldn’t be assed making my own list so I’ll just pick out the bits of yours that I’d take (those in bold would actually be excited to see us sign) and added a couple of my own.
Arsenal - Saka , Martinelli

Chelsea - Pusilic, Reece James
Crystal Palace - Odsonne Edouard , Conor Gallager
Leeds - Raphinha , Kalvin phillips
Leicester - Tielemans , Ndidi

Newcastle - Guimares , ASM
Norwich - Gilmour
Southampton - Livramento , James Ward Prowse
Tottenham - Son , Kulasevski
Watford - Sarr
Wolves - Neves , Jiminez
West Ham - Rice , Bowen
Arsenal - Saka , Martinelli
Burnley - Weghorst, Pope
Chelsea - Kante, Ziyech
Crystal Palace - Gallager, Olise
Leeds - Raphinha , Phillips
Leicester - Tielemans , Ndidi
Man City - KDB , Mahrez
Man Utd - Sancho
Newcastle - Guimares , ASM
Norwich - Gilmour
Southampton - Livramento , JWP
Tottenham - Son , Kulasevski

Wolves - Neves , Jiminez
West Ham - Rice , Bowen
Villa - Cash, Konsa

Southampton - Walker-Peters (used to think he was terrible, impressed recently), JWP
Watford - Sarr
Wolves - Neto, Neves
West Ham - Bowen, Rice
Haven’t done every side - missed out the bigger ones and didn’t include those who I wouldn’t take anyone from. Judging a couple of players on their pre-injury ability (Justin, Neto, Eze).
Just a selection
Villa: Ramsey, Chukwuemeka
Wolves: Neto, Kilman
Leeds: Raphinha, Phillips
Arsenal: Martinelli, Saka
Soton: Livramento, Broja (on loan, I know)
Palace: Gallagher (ditto)
Burnley: McNeil
Brighton: Lamptey, Bissouma
Watford: Sarr
West Ham: Bowen, Rice
Leicester: Fofana
Not totally serious, off the top of my head, not even thinking about LFC too much, mixed of both quality and personal preference for whatever reasons, slightly past or present:
Arsenal: Saka, Martinelli
Aston Villa: Ramsey, Digne
Brentford: Raya, Toney
Brighton: Cucurella, Bissouma
Burnley: McNeil, Cornet
Chelsea: Kante, Havertz
Crystal Palace: Guehi, Guaita
Everton: Richarlison, Gordon
Leeds: Raphinha, Phillips
Leicester: Tielemans, Daka
Man City: De Bruyne, Silva
Man United: Varane, Sancho
Newcastle: Dubravka, Trippier
Norwich: Gilmour, Rashica
Southampton: Broja, Ward-Prowse
Tottenham: Kane, Son
Watford: Sarr, Foster
West Ham: Rice, Fabianski
Wolves: Neto, Neves
Can do another one thinking more serious and in line with Liverpool.
Livramento is someone i would really get behind.
Palace was probably the hardest team for me to pick two from.
Arsenal: Saka, Martinelli

Tottenham: Kane, Son
Watford: Sarr, Foster
West Ham: Rice, Bowen
Arsenal: Martinelli, Saka

I didn’t want to include players who are currently on loan, otherwise I’d have Williams and Gilmour from Norwich.
