“Liverpool are happy to see him [Curtis Jones] leave on a free. There are no contract talks ongoing, so if a club was to put £30m on a table, they’ll probably talk.”

Contracts running out in summer 2027:
Alisson
Virgil van Dijk
Joe Gomez
Kostas Tsimikas
Calvin Ramsay
Stefan Bajcetic
Curtis Jones
Harvey Elliott
Nothing too problematic in the next 12 months then really - you’d imagine Ali and Virgil would be allowed to leave on frees given their age (though I could also see one or both offered 1-year extensions and it not being particularly problematic to agree those with the players).
We all know the situation with Jones so won’t comment further on that one, think for Baj and Elliott it will be a big season to see if they can contribute, and if they can new contract probably won’t be too difficult, if they can’t then not really missing out on much in the way of fees if they leave in 12 months.
Ramsay, Tsimi… meh. Given our depth and injury issues in the full back positions I think it makes sense to keep them around but spend the next year formulating better plans for the positions (big season for Bradley to prove his fitness and Frimpong his suitability for RB).
It’s still possible we see several of them leave this window. I would think Alisson, Virgil are probably nailed on to stay. Kostas and Bajcetic most likely to be here too. Then the remainder of that list probably depends on what sort of offers, if any, we get.
Can’t see any of those players getting a new deal personally.
Would like Curtis to sign a 5 year deal though!
