We were absolutely robbed today by a referee who set out to make this game as close as possible. Hasn’t he even said on some podcast or something that he thinks that it is the role of the referee to manage “the occasion” not the game?
People can try and blame our maturity or mentality or whatever but I’m not going there. I’m actually really impressed that we managed to battle through this game despite Everton being given free kicks for imaginary fouls and being allowed to assault our players at will with nothing being given. It must have been extremely frustrating.
Nothing will get mentioned in the media about Ndiaye’s dive, Doucoure’s foul in the lead up to the 2nd goal or Nunez’s denied penalty when he’s wrestled to the ground but they were all massive wrong decisions that directly influenced the result of this game.
Anyway, we get this cunt of a game out of the way and we extend our lead at the top to 7 points.

Well, at least they took a point at the Emirates earlier on.
But what an absolutely shite team, and what an absolute robbing. I hope we really slay them at Anfield.

It’s an absolutely dreadful performance from one of the worst referees in the league. That’s the biggest takeaway. That cunt strutted onto the pitch with his stall set out - the last Merseyside Derby and he was refereeing the narrative. He gave Everton absolutely everything.
I’ve seen people moaning about our performance, but we could not get going shackled by that bellend. He was giving them fouls for falling over, while they were allowed to rough us up at will.
Five minutes added time, two Everton lads run into each other with a minute to go, get treated for a minute and he is still letting them play after nearly eight minutes.
It’s a scandalous performance.

We were so naïve in extra time, normally when we need a goal we play it round at the back for a couple of minutes but tonight when protecting a lead we pump it long and gift possession away.

Was probably a fair result reached in unfair circumstances.
Oliver was a prick but we didn’t play well, got dragged down to their level and then failed to see it out. All the head losses at the was embarrassing and gave them, and every other fucker, exactly what they wanted.
But, we’re unbeaten in 20 in the league, we’ve a 7 point lead and an almost fully fit squad. Every club in the league swaps places with us tonight if they could.
Don’t let tonight impact our season beyond this final whistle. Maybe a wake up call to some that there’ll be a fight for this title to come and how we react will be a measure of how serious we are about winning this. Compose ourselves, do our job and Arsenal will drop points over their next five games.

So many things to detail but life is too short.
PGMOL should be disbanded with a new thing emerging, with proper accountability, that can be fit for purpose.
In the grand scheme of things a point extends our lead at the top to seven. Arsenal are now three games behind. We are in the box seat, but we have more work to do and need to bounce back from this injustice.

Every highlight covered by the US feed outside the goals were incidents presenting Everton as being hard done by. A foul taking their best player off…a hand ball call on Ibou waved away.
