Post match: Liverpool v Aston Villa (EPL 9/11/24 8pm)

So there you have it, what was supposed to be one of our most difficult stretches of seven game this season has resulted in six wins and a draw.

Obviously the league is not winning November, but as long as we keep building credit in the bank, we can better survive the inevitable late season surge from City. If they don’t get a points deduction or fucked out the league, that is.

I reckon if Arse lose or even draw tomorrow then they’re out of the running.

The Caf’s latest cope is that when we win the league this season, Slot will have matched Klopp’s total league wins in his first season.

Collective IQ of about 40 on that forum.

'A win tonight. Top of the league. 5 points clear of Man City. Doesn’t get much better, does it?

Slot:
‘Yeah but that bloody result vs Nottingham…’

For the first time this season, we’re favourites to win the league:

Every time I look at that, I keep thinking there’s a zero missing from Man U’s odds.

At the first goal , Why wasn’t the guy who fouled Salah given his marching orders despite the advantage being played ?

Salah was through on goal then.

Because you can’t send some off for denying a goal scoring opportunity when a goal is scored

Keep seeing mentions of us not being as exciting.

I’m quite enjoying it and we are creating plenty of chances.

Is it just something to say?

Zero mention of Leon Baileys absolute stonewall red card on match of the day

It’s hilariously ironic, seeing that the media darlings from the Emptihad play the most boring, sterile football you’re ever likely to see.

Cannot get a red for DOGSO if the result is a goal. Similar to goalkeeper double jeopardy

What I meant to say is that yes, the goal renders that moot, but just before that Coote waves the challenge away as no foul. He didn’t indicate play advantage. That’s either an egregious error or something sinister.
