Second, being 4th in the PL, still in the FA Cup in January, in the CL top 8 and having an unbeaten record with almost half the games being draws isn’t something to celebrate. We are the reigning champions; this is the bare minimum of what we should expect. Thankfully, the last two games offer some encouragement. Slot will have to build on them and more importantly start picking up wins if he wants to keep his job.
