It wasn’t about the money remember.

These have become really low effort and unfunny the last few years. Just my opinion.

Travel 101 - wherever you are traveling the world hang out with the Australians. They are low drama, pretty funny, and 100% know where the best expat bars in town are.

You are one.

I think we can all accept that there are occasions where a player gets injured as a result of a tackle and it was just unfortunate.

But I think you have to consider it in context as well. It was Caiceco’s third challenge that could have warranted a card. By the time he injured Gravenberch, Caicedo had already set his stall out as a lad running round like a fucking maniac, leaving studs on anything in a red shirt.

I don’t mind if that’s Caicedo’s first one, and referee gives him the benefit of the doubt and shows a yellow rather than a red. But it wasn’t his first, and if the ref gets a grip on him in the first ten and show him yellow, then the Gravenberch injury doesn’t happen.

And therein lies the problem with officiating. They want to referee games as occasions, but then review decisions as discreet incidents. So yes, as you say, bullshit.

He was similar against Man City until he got a card and I think after that he only made one possible yellow.

Interesting that he got a card against City?

To be fair he should have been off, Maddely generally was decent though in that match.

Dismissing the bollocks penalty claims and he did book him after 2-3 challenges.

Rideo.

I want to thank this incredible club, this amazing manager, this imperious captain, these precocious lads, those deafening fans that traveled, for making me happy.

Was driving home from SW Florida Sunday morning, following the passing of my father on Friday. Had been with him since Monday, and it was a trying time. When I saw that Mo, Darwin, and Dom were missing, my expectations lowered, but we are the Reds, and I knew we’d fight to the end. Driving through southern Georgia when Virgil netted the one that “counted”, the other drivers on I-95 must have thought the wife and I had lost our minds, we were bouncing around so. That wonderful win brought some much needed joy to a sorrowful and stressful week.

But, that is what sports does, innit? We become supporters of a club/team for different reasons, different circumstances, but we unite behind them, and create relationships and friendships because of them. Together we ride the journey of our lives, intertwined with the ups and downs of our teams’ seasons. It can bring you both heartbreak and fulfillment, and we do it together.

Thank you again for Sunday’s win, and thank you TAN for letting me know that I never walk alone.
