That ship sailed a long time ago.

About the refereeing, I don’t understand. The last game he did for us he was so good we didn’t even notice him at all. This time however…

Feels like he’s been told to referee the derby a particular way.

Very important win against the bitters. Not our best performance but thankfully no injuries and 3 points is what matters.

A horrible match that produced one moment of magic….we deserved the win. The refs performance was shocking….but we still won. We could do this….stick together lads. Oh and someone have a word with Salah. If he is going to behave like this because his contract negotiations are not going his way then he will fuck up his Legend status here.

Far far better 2nd half caused them a lot more problems, Jota got into the game and Diaz never stopped.

Mo never in the game again, needs to be replaced like any other player when his game is off.

If he sulks for it then he isn’t a team player, but hopefully, with the personality he has he just goes out says fuck you and proves he shouldn’t be subbed off

Three points the main thing, and a resolute display. 13 more needed, assuming Arsenal will be perfect - they won’t. A big step to the title. Nice to win again after the final and the CL.

Jota looked sharper and took his goal very well.
Diaz looked very lively too.

Everton are anti-football yard dogs. They pride themselves on being a supposed big club, but when has a big club ever been satisfied with emulating Pulis’ Stoke side?

No marks. How they finished with 11 men is beyond me. Tarkowski definite red. And how did Pickford not see red for a full blooded kick through Darwin Nunez?

The ref was crap. Tierney on VAR was as expected - gave us nothing and was crap.

But we still found a way to win. Get in!

Onwards and upwards.

Ultimately all that matters is the three points.

Let’s hope the officials are equally as lenient and that shower of shit try just as hard against Arsenal at the weekend.

Great from Virg shutting Owen down who said it was building into something very special, with him saying we are fighting for the biggest and asking Owen if he thought that isn’t special, Owen, you clown

Jota, Diaz and Jones for my MotM votes. I thought Curtis looked quite effective in that RB position.

Hopefully we have survived intact, but 3 points is the main thing.

Everton are their usual snide selves. Escaped a clear straight red, Pickford stuck the boot in having presumably heard the whistle, and I forget who it was, but someone dived in the box and was found out because Curtis spotted the dive and pulled out of the tackle.

Anyway, what do we need now? 13 points from 8 games?

Yes very nervy, especially with their freekicks and corners towards the end

Always a great night when you score and your keeper don’t have any saves to make, 13 more points seals it.
