I’m sorry I haven’t posted earlier. I’ve been busy accepting the plaudits for calling for DJ to be taken off at half time.
I tempted the Gods of Fate with my bold suggestion, and they couldn’t stop themselves from reacting.
Gifts of Champagne and chocolates to the usual address.
What did Salah do to upset everyone?
Couple of bad games… tends to be excuse.
Huh?
Much needed win. Any dropped points would have put us under pressure on Sunday, especially after these cunts roll over for Arsenal on Saturday.
There are people on these boards who think it would be “bad for the city” if these absolute fucking vermin were relegated.
I don’t know whether it would be bad for the city, I suspect the city has enough to offer that Everton in the Championship wouldn’t be its death knell, but I do know that it would mean that there would be two fewer games against opponents who are hell bent on hospitalising our players, and that would be welcome.
Also no change in GD which is like an extra point.
I realise that you have strong feelings, but the use of the word ‘vermin’ to describe our fellow human beings is offensive.
You may dislike them and their behaviour, but this term has been used throughout history to justify the most heinous of crimes. They are people, your neighbours, work colleagues and even family. They may goad you and annoy you, but dehumanising them only reflects badly on you.
Yeah cheesy bellends or just bitters is fine enough.
He hasn’t, but it seems he is being treated differently as he stays on the pitch when it isn’t happening for him and going through a poor period.
Eg. Diaz was involved the whole game and gets taken off, when he is one of our better players, how does that make him think?
Mo’s numbers have been out of this World but the last few games nothing is coming off for him and he doesn’t work defensively as much as our other forwards.
Just needs to be subbed earlier sometimes and rested to put some fire in his belly, thinking he has to give more each and every game as he shouldn’t just start or stay on if he isn’t performing.
Cheesy bellend, Great description of a mate of mine, great fella unless he is on the footy pitch or talking footy.
I stand by everything I’ve said.
In defense of this, Mo had scored a number of important goals late in games where it looked like it wasn’t happening for him most of the game. Life as a striker and all, but his track record and history of production makes it hard for the manager to take him out of any game when we need a goal however questionable his performance.
That being said, I suspect we see him taken off more I the future if he stays.
I totally agree in what you say and on numerous occasions he has scored or assisted when I would have subbed him.
Also, having someone on performing better when he is having a quiet game, may have also led to a goal or assist.
I do think he causes our issues down our right by not tracking powerful ovelapping full backs.
To be honest I agree we should be looking at Chiesa or Elliott but there is at least two posts that seem to have gone from give him a contract to drive him to the nearest airport.
Only people who think Tarkowski should have stayed on seem to be 7% of that poll and the ref and his VAR assistant.
And that 7% are probably bots.
I am and always have been that he should stay but on a lesser contract than he is now, but I realise I am a minority
Or cheesy bellends
