Trent new it also and just got on with it taking one for the team
Itâs actually under 60, the only team in the League above 60 mins is City
Indeed. Heâs been absolutely awful since he came in as manager yet somehow heâs managed to gain a Teflon coat going back to his days of a managing Chelsea and nothing sticks to him. Rafa didnât do well by any stretch but everything regarding their malaise is being pointed to him while everyoneâs old boy and friend gets a free pass.
In such a shit battle at the bottom, two extra wins in his games in charge would have left hem pretty much safe but heâs âguidedâ them two points off being level with safety. Fraud.
Not sure what youâre point is here?
Matipâs heel is on the ground but the rest is still 8n the air. And yet in the next frame his foot is flat on the ground.
It doesnât matter though, I still donât think itâs a foul. Gordon puts his foot across Matip and then throws himself to the floor.
According to Jamie OâHara on Talksport, Richarlison is not a cheat. It was a stonewall penalty and Liverpool are the new Man Utd regarding the decisions we get. He also criticised Carragher, for telling Richarlison to get up. Unbelievable!
But to then feign injury is also an offence. Itâs called simulation now and not diving. If you simulate that youâre badly injured and then carry on then that is an offence and should be punished.
If we were Man U regarding decisions, weâd have had the Westham away opening goal disallowed and Cresswell sent off, gotten a penalty at Spurs (Keane still wonât get sent off) and therefore have a handy 4 point lead at this point.
Pundits saying refs favour us, and people in this forum saying theyâre corrupt and thereâs an agenda against us. Maybe neither is true
Or maybe Klopp and his coaching staff, just work hard with the players, regarding not giving referees the opportunity to give penalties against us.
I defy anybody to explain Kavanaghâs actions as VAR in the Spurs-Liverpool and Everton-City matches as anything other than corruption.
There is slight contact, but when Matip realises that Gordon will beat him for pace he pulls back to avoid pushing him. Gordon then crosses into Matipâs path and goes down without contact. He should have seen red considering he had been booked for diving earlier in the game
It would have been very harsh but to say there was no contact is really blinkered. There was no push but he clearly stands on his foot. Take another look at the clip someone posted above. Robbo against Welbeck a while back was even softer than that and givenâŚ
Incompetence, personal bias, subconscious bias?
If you see what our players do when someone breaks through, it is typically to force them into a position where they canât take a good shot. I expect the stats suggest that forcing someone to take a shot at a suboptimal angle produces far fewer conceded goals than tripping them up in the box.
Indeed, that supports what I said
Just a quickie and Iâm not even sure that Iâm correct. But I thought I read after the Utd game midweek that we had something like 18 different scorers in the Prem this season and it equalled a record? If so would Robboâs goal have set a new record?
Such a mental boost that win, despite them being shit they made us work for it.
That was a very important win and vital 3 points. I expected a difficult match, especially after totally outplaying Manure and all the praise from media and fans.
Everton are fighting to stay in the league, they have decent players and are not that bad as the league table suggests. They deserved a point vs. $ity at home, losing thanks to a late goal and a 1000% penalty not given. That moment is another remidner to $ity fans crying that our neighbours were robbed yesterday, actually that moment at the end of Everton vs. City was an absolute travesty.
Most of our players were below their usual level. TAA had a rerally poor game offensively and also defensively missing most of the time and letting Matip play too often 1vs.1 with the speedy Gordon.
Keita and Thiago had the ball for 80%+ of the time, but failed to create anything for our forwards. Mane and Jota were static and their movement wasnât good enough, they simply could not find the right spaces.
Salah was our best forward, his assist for Robbo was superb /22 goals and 13 assists in the PL, he is our number 1 in goals and assists. Trent has 12 assists and Robbo has 10/ and Mo also started the attack for the 1st goal with fine pass for Origi. I really struggle to understand why he hasnâs signed a new long term contract, best player in the world at the moment entering his prime.
Robbo was also very good - the goal, that goalline clearance and his overall display was superb. Just for example Trentâs man was Evertonâs best player, but Robboâs man /Gray/ was absolutely invisible for 90 minutes, his only good chance came when he went central /escaping Robbo/and his shot from 25 metres was really dangerous.
Matip and VvD were solid for most of the match and Joel was much more involved, but managed to solve every Everton puzzle.
Well done to our three substitutes - Diaz, Origi and Hendo. All of them involved in our goals. That is the reason to have squad depth, that is why some of us wanted to sign a forward and a midfielder last summer. Diaz is a gamechanger and a player who improved improved our attack and is giving our opponents extra troubles when they play us.
Finally - this week two things must happen to increase our chances for winning the lague. Palace must beat /or at least not lose vs. Leeds/ and we must win vs. Newcastle. Then $ity will have a really hard battle vs. a team fighting against relegation and Leeds are the only team that will have something to play for from their remaining 5 matches.
Richarlison would be a fit for playing under Simeone at Atletico. How on earth did he not already have a yellow card when it came to his lash out at Hendo near the end.
And crazy that Pickford didnât get booked for all his time wasting.
The commentary on sky and lfctv both saying that Diaz shot for his overhead kick assist. Possibly but I wouldnât be sure. Diaz is a helluva player!
Hope Jurgen has a proper word with Sadio. Putting his hand in the face of 2 players⌠asking for trouble.
Donât we have a slightly important fixture kicking off in 57 hours? âŚ
