The entire team were at it, especially second half. They cut off Mo’s shooting angles so he put in a world class cross for an assist. That challenge from Robbo to start the move for the fourth goal. Some of the passes by both our fullbacks into midfield to beat their press.Darwin becoming much more efficient with his runs and his goal attempts producing either goals or chances. Just sumptuous!

I get the impression that Klopp, was like Wenger, less interventionist and was often said to have trusted the players to solve problems or create chances to win games.
Arne in contrast appears to be closer to Rafa in his approach, more comfortable in being hands on.

Didn’t see that coming at HT. First half had a lot of similarity to the Chelsea game in that we failed to impose ourselves and chances were few at both ends. That’s 3 home games running where we’ve looked pretty average 1st half but fuck me that 2nd half tonight was outstanding.
Great to see Jones continue his recent good form and gave him MOTM along with Diaz and Konate. To be fair I couldn’t fault anyone, Tsimikas and Gravenberch were also very good and MacAllister improved greatly in the 2nd half.
Keeps up our outstanding record of never having lost to a German team at Anfield - 60 years and something like 20 matches!
Only gripe was the groundstaff working on the divots in the 6 yard box at the Kop end at half-time, surely it’s better to do that at the end we’re going to defend?
