And that will drive him crazy for the rest of his career.

I think Luis Diaz was fouled about 15 times by the way I was glad he had a kick at Walker at the end. Nunez was smirking :joy:

Shame we couldn’t get the 5 or 6 goals we left on the table but very comfortable win.

Actually loved Guardiola’s respinse, thought Anfield loved it too - you could hear the laugh from the crowd. Some perfect “banter” there.

Mo says he doesn’t take Anfield for granted and it feels like home. It may be his last City game at home but will see after we win the league.

He’s in until he’s out.

Beautiful win! Slot outwitted Pep by a mile today.

The subs and tactical adjustments were amazing!

Gomez, VVD and Kelleher was probably not as troubled as I thought. Robbo was way better today!

The midfield was very good defensively! Gravenburch, Macca and Szoboszlai and Jones were a good mix of industry and skill.

Salah had a shocking miss but redeemed it by slamming the ball in the bottom corner for the pen and providing the assist. 1 goal and 1 assist for him today!

Gakpo was intelligent with his run for the tap in. Diaz was noticeably subdued in the middle but got better after getting to the wing. Nunez is blunt as fuck but his work-rate is impressive for a forward. His good hold up play led to Ortega fouling Diaz.

Slot’s tactic on the go is mad. Doku was giving TAA the run around. TAA off for Quansah in a direct swap was brilliant. Quansah held up Doku whose pace was swiftly doused after the midfielders was given the time to reinforce the right side. Nunez for Gakpo was also a good change although it is more predictable.

2 shots on target and 3 off target all day long for citeh is mind-blowingly low…

First 25 minutes, Pep didn’t know what hit him. We could have been three up. Then Man City started to come into it, though the possession didn’t translate into chances.

Second half, our midfield stepped off more (probably conserve some energy as in the first half they were all over the pitch).

A win and a clean sheet against Shitty, finshes off the perfect week. On to the barcodes on Wednesday, followed by an early Saturday kick off for the derby. So rotation now needed to keep things fresh.

What a stunning performance, well worthy of the win…like Madrid, a game we should’ve won by 4 or 5…or as Pep rightfully pointed out, 6. City never looked like scoring, the poor cheating fucks.

Virg or Grav my MOTM but shout outs to Gomez, Dom and Trent who all started for the first time in what seems like a lifetime and bossed it.
