Robbie Fowler saying it wasn’t the best he has seen against City as City weren’t at their best.
Why weren’t they at their best because we didn’t allow them to be, we smothered them, out battled them, out ran them and out played them

FT: Liverpool 1-1 Man City
Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live
What about the negativity that Liverpool fans were giving to Manchester City? Booing them every single time they were on the ball.
Now that will spook you now and again if you are a player.
You want to play your passing, controlling game but you’re getting battered, you’re getting howls of abuse every single second, every time you have got the ball.
So it’s not comfortable possession you have got.
They played their part today.
Klopp 10 game touchline ban and 500mill fine incoming.
“Mike Dean working for Sky now, that’s a great appointment by the way”
typical refereeing standards in PL, and they are fckgggin proud of it
We were better and cheaty couldn’t cope with us most of the time.
Just sorry that we didn’t win the game for Klopp
NBC analysts are atrocious. The geezer is talking through the replays, and thinks the Phil Foden ricochet off Kelleher was actually on his chest, so Liverpool were lucky it hit the crossbar. No mention of it hitting his hand so it would never stand if it went in.
And the Doku high foot was not a penalty for him as he got to the ball first.
Sideswiped Webb too. Brilliant.
Seems we’ ve finally found the wise man to answer the chicken vs egg question…
really surprised that VAR didn’t call that kick on Macca as obvious as it was
Its a free kick so should have called it a penalty. It is a bad call and VAR should have stepped in. But I am never the less uncomfortable with the focus on it since although a penalty is a goal 90 percent of the time, I saw us playing a fantastic second half, creating many big chances, more than City, but we did fail to score from open play. We have to be a bit introspective when it comes to not being able to score imo.
But yeah, that was a clear free kick and thus should have absolutely been a penalty kick.
5.26am here, and I’ve been up since 2.30.
How am I going to calm down enough to sleep?

David: Premier League football at its best. As a Sheffield United fan I haven’t said that much this season.
Woke at 3:30 here in NZ
Almost time for some cold naan, korma, and paneer, you lucky sod.
It’s fucking Coote. I doubt he has ever challenged the on-field decision regardless of how erroneous it may appear.
EDIT: I got the idiots wrong. It was actually Atwell today but the point stands about Coote.
I suggest a quick run to work out your excess energy.
I’m gonna be listening to some metal songs now. Need to channel my aggression somewhere.
Korma, soft cock
Korma isn’t a bitch.
We all have to play our part in different ways… Here take your medal and go back to bed :0)
