Post Match: Liverpool v Man Utd (EPL 5/3/23 4.30pm)

Souness v Gary in the studio.

Gary actually thinks Utd were the better team first half…and said we played “alright” 2nd half.

Smacks of desperation, not handling demolishment very well.

Im sure Geneseo will deal with it his own way. I dont think he needs us telling us how to parent his kid

Just perusing the Caf and scrolled down to navigate to the next page…it stopped scrolling exactly here.

I think it is fitting their MoTM is a pair of ugly knickers.

Keep him supporting United. He’s clearly a jinx!

Souness basically calling Neville out for saying they didn’t play well :joy:

TAN going into melt down for half the game…but not for the reason you’d expect.

Honestly struggled to see a new post for about half an hour.

It’s worth interrogating this thought a bit, because there is some truth in it I just dont think it means what he wants it to mean. For 45 minutes it was a tight game. I think the balance of chances was a bit warped by most of their coming from delayed flags (situations we actually defended well), but it was a tight game and for as good as we were it was not comfortable. Then the second half started, we got the second and it become no contest. That should terrify Neville. It should not be a crutch to lean on, because you dont win stuff with a team full of players who go missing once things become difficult.

I didn’t need to be concerned anout the boys not turning up today after all!

Fucking brilliant

can someone give Gary Neville a shovel so he can dig his hole bigger and quicker?

Assuming you mean the first half here, we were largely in control…result wise yes it may appeared to be that way but Casemiro/Fred were getting nothing out of Fab and Hendo…even in the first half.

2nd half was what it was, a one sided molestation.

It was an evenly matched half to me, as you said half of their play was offside but generally I felt we defended well, they did create a few chances but we did as well.

1-1 or 0-0 would have been fair at half time.

Second half we came out of the blocks, I don’t think we played particularly bad for any period of the game though.

Irony was at 2-0 I thought it was won, and I never think that.

Just said in the United thread he’s making an absolute show of himself. What a bitter prick. We didn’t play that well. Honestly. For fucks sake.

Was really worried about Casemiro and Marcus Rashford. Luckily they didn’t play tonight.

Gary going in full meltdown mode while Jamie and Graeme watch, smirking.

Jamie “You can’t even give Liverpool credit for winning 7-0”

Gary: “I’ve given you credit James, well done for winning”

Jamie: “You’ve never called me James before”

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Ten Haag has no explanation.

I can explain it for you, you’re little “reinvented” team you got going on there after winning a mickey mouse cup just got smashed up 7-0 by a team having their worst season in 8 years.

I said to my mates at half time that the old Liverpool would thrash this Utd team. Little did I know.

We did very well keeping Rashford quiet bar the one chance.

Do you don’t create the better chances if the other team goes in 1-0.
