Just imagine what we could have been with Mbappé and Bellingham…utter rubbish.

Tremendous performance.
Was looking especially at the midfield contest and it wasn’t even close…

He was probably leaving Arne a very long voicemail.

Kelleher for some huge saves and the defining penalty save.

The Castlederg Cafu for a coming of age performance built around a truly epic tackle.

Gravenberch and MacAllister are the tough ones, but so many in the side rate a mention.

This is very unsettling…

Im trying to not get carried away in the immediate aftermath, but I’m struggling to remember a performance that good, all over the pitch, under such circumstances. It isnt just that 2-0 flattered them, it was that over the 90 minutes they barely got anything going at all.

Sweet Jesus that is beautiful… I would love to get a shot of the look on MacAllister’s face as that thunder breaks over Mbappe.

Kelleher is the first Liverpool goalkeeper in 115 years to save two penalties in consecutive games.

If it was a prize fight, it wasn’t a knockout, but you would be left asking if Real won a single round.
