POST MATCH: Liverpool v West Ham (EPL 31/10/20 5.30pm)

Said yesterday…all goalies who play against us will be protected…because of the Flappy incident…some people still believe Flappy was in the right…and now all goalies against us will not be penalised but we will be…just to justify the Flappy incident/decisions…

Agree on all three points made. Add the poor decision on a penalty for Mo vs Villa and you see how this has developed.
Dermot Gallagher will defend the use of VAR, and poor refereeing on SKY tomorrow.

If the foul that Mane is alleged to have committed for the disallowed goal was so “obvious”, then why did it take so long for VAR to make a decision to pass the buck and ask Kevin Friend to have another look at it? It’s because it wasn’t an obvious foul and therefore the goal should’ve stood.
I didn’t think it was a foul at the time, I thought they were looking at Jota for offside, but the ball came off the defenders leg, so it wasn’t offside.
Perfectly good goal, fucked over by VAR again.

The only people who think Prickford was in the right, are blueshite or mancs, plus all the other haters.

Yeah in previous years the disallowed VAR goal would simply be a ‘coming together’.

Rumor has it…Masauaka has said…he went a bit mad and caused the foul that resulted in a pen…so Moyes, lineker, and all other doubters… Watch before you speak…

To be honest for me it’s 3 players going for the ball. No one is fouled. Yes 99 times out of 100 it would be disallowed for a foul on the keeper but we all know that the 1 out of 100 when it’s allowed would be against us.

Mo went over easy for the peno but he saw that Mane didn’t get one for being bundled over. Week after week he gets grabbed, pulled back, grappled with and nothing. The ref’s are making a rod for their own back.

Yeah, same here. No chance we get away with that one. The pen was soft but we’ve had no luck at all with decisions lately so fuck it.

The haters believe our players need to be injured and limp off the pitch in order for it to be a penalty.

Nah, even then they’ll say it wasn’t a penalty.

Well then. Open play goals it is… More Shaq to Jota please!!!

Was just thinking about it this morning – it’s damned if we do; damned if we don’t. If our forwards don’t go down, they don’t get a penalty; if they do go down, they accused of going down too easily.

If they played for MU, however, they would get a penalty anyway no questions asked! That said, I do find it slightly hilarious given how many penalties they have had that they have finished a combined 64 points behind us the last two seasons.

The one Mane went through the back of and took down? What robbery!

Are you actually serious? Went through the back of?? Three players went for the ball, and it broke to Jota. It wasnt a foul by Mane on anyone.
Defend your beloved VAR all you like, but try and keep it realistic.

Next excuse: Jota offside?

You just Yada Yada Yadaed the fact that the west ham player who got to the loose ball first was taken down by Mane’s lunge. It was because of that the the ball “broke” to Jota.

It was arguably a foul on two different players. I can’t quite understand the moaning about the decision.

We’ve been fucked over a number of times in recent games, that wasn’t one of those times.

It really wasnt a foul. Going for the ball isnt a foul.

It is if you miss it and get the opponent. That’s a pretty fundamental part of football.

You really are strange.
Resident “expert” on VAR according to Rambler. Yet you don’t really understand what constitutes a foul. Have you played football? Do you realise every challenge doesn’t constitute a foul?

Which opponent did he get?
