Motd has to be Salah instead of Diaz. This man has 2 assists and 1 goal today! This man single-handedly won the game for us.

Diaz was subdued a while but got alive once he got free.

Jota was very quiet but did alright.

Szoboszlai need to trust his left foot more.

Gravenburch 1st half was a masterclass and sent Mainoo and Casemiro reeling. I hope he is not injured at any point of this season.

on the other hand, De Ligt is not improving man united at all. If I am not wrong, De Ligt did play a LFC player onside for what the referee called for a offside!

easy - not sure why I was worried. The United midfield was practically non-existent.

Gravenberch and Szoboszlai absolutely dominated. They look much improved on the end of last season. Slot definitely getting a tune out of them.

Diaz wonderfully cool - he started quite poorly and I was bitching in the in match thread that he gives it away too much. Then he got a brace, so all is forgiven (Iā€™ve previously said the same about Salah). Heā€™s started brilliantly.

All round - over the moon with that. Little Iā€™d change atm - maybe give Nunez a chance to start against Forest as Jots was quiet, but thatā€™s about it.

Before the game I was rueing the fact we didnā€™t sign a no 6 but after that I was well impressed with gravy Morton will cover for him and Endo.
