Since we battered united we’ve got 1 point from 6 and conceded 5.
Since Villa beat them at OT they’ve lost 5 on the run and conceded 13. Think it all just points to United being shite.
#Kloppout
It was shocking and assault is the correct term. Refs have to clamp down on that thuggery or the game will go to shit, Oh wait!
Is it? I’m not sure about that.
Some thoughts through the game
3’ WTF. This is getting chalked off. You can do that to a keeper.
3’ Oh no. Apparently you can on ours.
8’ Absolute shithouse tackle on Henderson by Cresswell. Should be a straight red when VAR see it. Worse that the Pogba one.
8’ Erm. What? Not even a foul? Christ.
20’ At this point would Carra like to go down the dugout and fellate Moyes?
41’ Absolutely beautiful from Trent.
49’ Fucks sake Sadio? Anywhere but where the keeper is stood.
52’ Why are we trying to play head tennis with these?
54’ Wouldn’t mind seeing Thiago now
61’ Right. This is fucking bullshit. If you want to see how referees are absolutely killing us, look at this. It won’t be commented on anywhere else. West Ham are high up the pitch, Jota is fouled challenging for the ball and it comes out to Ox who is away. The referee doesn’t blow for a free kick when Jota is taken out. He waits until Ox is striding up the pitch, and then blows. You utter cunt. Liverpool are incensed.
63’ Really want to see Thiago now.
67’ Fucking unbelievable how every scrappy bounce is landing with a West Ham player.
68’ Carragher thinks West Ham have been much better this half. But you were creaming your knickers over them all first half, Jamie, so what are they now? Brazil 1970?
72’ Had to turn off Carra. Fucking bellend. Everyone knows you played loads of times for Liverpool. You don’t have to even the scales.
74’ Fuck off.
82’ And you can fuck off too Div, giving me hope.
84’ I’d take a draw here if West Ham play like this against Chelsea and City. They won’t though, the bastards.
88’ Matip looks up and taps in back to Alisson. 88mins. 3-2.
90’ Christ Sadio. But the target, lad.
92’ You play for Liverpool Taki. They’re allowed to punch you.
94’ Nice try Sadio, but VAR would have seen it was Div who pushed you over.
Full time.
That was shit, but I feel aggrieved that West Ham should have been playing 82mins of that game with ten men. I’m fine with the goal, but only if it’s fair for both sides. It feels like we only have to breath on a keeper to end up with a goal ruled out.
Liverpool have to be much better. I think the key against sides like this who spend 90% of their time in a defensive shell is to be much braver and quicker in transition. It was very rare today we got a run at a scrambling West Ham backline, so don’t turn round and give the ball to Virgil, while all their lads slot back into shape. I’d sooner see the ball given away, than allowing them to settle in.
I think simply we are set up for the CL, there just isn’t the time to prepare for matches so general set up is the way. We are still in for the EPL however it’s more wait and see and we’ll see with 6 games left to play.
We need to smarten up defending corners and set pieces, that would help both campaigns.
Did Declan Rice ever get into a midfield position all the match?
Looked like thier 5th defender to me, with a decent pass on him and yet he’s been credited with dominating Hendo FFS.
@Mascott very good summary.
It must be Carra influencing what’s being said on here. Glad I didn’t have to listen to such dire tripe. He sounds like an anti football fan that’s loves counter attacking bus parkers!
Hendo also had Cresswell take a flying leap at his knee in the first ten minutes and ran it off.
I still don’t understand why that wasn’t a red card.
I’d suggest it was because it was early in the game and that fucking tool doesn’t want to ‘spoil’ Sky’s Sunday night match.
By the time he makes contact with Henderson just below the knee he is in a completely horizontal position, no part of his body is touching the ground and for good measure his right leg kicks Henderson’s standing leg from under him.
It’s a fucking assault, literally one of the worst fucking tackles I’ve ever seen.
Someone at this football club needs to demand answers on this. It is open season on our players and another broken leg is coming sooner rather than later.
Not even a foul.
I’ll honest, regardless of the lack of any kind of sanction for Cresswell, I was made up that he got up. As soon as that tackle went in, I thought that was Jordan’s season done.
It was a fucking outrage.
That scissor motion was completely deliberate and aimed at maiming. There needs to be after match analyse of shit like this that also punishes Refs and VAR for complete dogshittery and long bans on players who commit such actions.
If I wanted to see kung fu performances I’d watch Kung Fu films not football.
It set the tone for the rest of the match, play on play on but not if Liverpool had a decent counter on.
It’s embarrassing you find our manager’s comments embarrassing. Were Ferguson’s post match comments for 3 decades embarrassing or a message to the ref’s? And our manager actually speaks the truth, unlike Ferguson.
Tired of the softness of our players, our interpretation of principles and ethical behavior, and our unwillingness to do to others what others do to us. Especially when the West Ham look-alike’s of Atletico and Real Madrid dark arts experts are deemed to be “professional” and “bullish”.
Bizarre. Absolutely fucking bizarre. Representatives of this football club should go to the media tomorrow with footage and stills of that absolute fucking outrage and demand answers from Riley.
Who was the linesman?
I didn’t notice him flinch, if he had waved his flag it surely would have been red?
Edit: one of these cunts: Assistants: Lee Betts, Adam Nunn
I just find it troubling with the ease of how they played through our midfield and the defence for the second. It’s like our midfield and defence forgot how to press and drop off at the same time.
How the fuck Zouma scores their third? It was a deep corner and we somehow missed the a man that even Everton wouldn’t take!
Just had a look at the Guardian’s minute by minute. They were convinced that as soon as VAR got involved he was off. Surprised he wasn’t. Carra also thought he was off, which was a rare diversion from frothing about West Ham.
One thing I’d say about Hendo though. Stay on the deck, mate. He was up and walking about whole the check was still ongoing. Don’t do that. Don’t give them a fucking out.
