You don’t sign new players on a 5 year contract because you have 3 midfielders out (1 with illness) in August. That’s City talk.
If you want to argue that the type of injury-prone midfielders we have should be replaced by younger players with no injuries, have at it. I won’t disagree with you. But i see no purpose in the argument of adding a tenth first team midfielder. That to me makes little sense.
