It took me a while to recognize that Chiesa isnt on it. I dobnt that is a direct response to his performance in midweek and more a reflection on needing to being patient for his road back. But it’s looking good to have a bench that looks that good with the luxury of being able to patient with a player of his quality

Given Nunez, Elliot and Jota are there, you wouldn’t really want a 3rd striker/4th attacker on the bench, from a balance perspective, and clearly hes not ready to be ahead of Jota or Nunez.

I like the team and I like the options we have on the bench. Looks very good indeed. Only Konate improves that. Hopefully Gomez is switched on and has a good game.
