Pre Match - Arsenal V Liverpool FC (A) | 08/01/2026 - 20:00 | PL - MD 21

Throw all tactics out of the window. They’re shit anyway. Go man vs man. High intensity. Make it wild.

Never underestimate the heart of a terrorist.

What could be better than to beat this lot with a storm building for drama. It’s cold and it’s wet in London, anything can happen…We are not pretty, we are still not a team but we can do this

Or clickbait as it has been twice now with Konate.

its the hope that kills us in the end

Arsenal are going to play a low block which means we are going to be very boring again.

I might end up watching this in bed. We went out to a Greek restaurant tonight and the portions are somewhat generous. I’m basically one mint away from going totally Mr Creosote.

Incidently, i thought the Mediterranean diet was meant to be healthy. I’m feeling less Nana Mouskouri and more Demis Roussos.

Anyway, I am curious which Arsenal turns up tonight. They often seem overly cautious, although that is often championship form.

if we can keep it down to 0-1 going into the half we have a chance to snatch a lucky draw or lose 0-3

Sad that Ekitike can’t play, but on the other hand, we have to be careful with him as we are short up top.

We are up against it, and it would be no surprise if we lost… but come on you red men. Do something we don’t expect and let’s get the win.

The trick is to do it regularly, not fit an entire lifetime of Mediterranean eating into one meal.

Hopefully the rains won’t adversely affect the Reds’ performance today.

I hear you, Klopp pulled a few great results out against the odds.

Maybe we will get one tonight. Here’s hoping…

Here’s a reminder to all the Liverpool fans that the full series of Sporting Giants: Mo Salah is now available to listen — just search ‘Salah’ on the BBC Sounds app.

His future might well still be up in the air but Arne Slot and Liverpool would love to have the Egyptian forward available to them tonight
