These have shipped 23 goals in their 7 Bundesliga and 2 CL games this season. If we lose here serious questions need asking.

Apparently, there was an “emergency team meeting” today and that clearly shows how seriously the team views the current situation. Hopefully, it can provide positive momentum and promote cohesion.

Maybe it was just a normal meeting, there is always a lot of “interpretation” from outside, but that’s why the public training started later. The way the day unfolded, they also had plenty of “together time” at the airport.

I’ve seen all the usual guff from a number of 1st team players on how the current situation is unacceptable.
Talk is cheap. That said it’s up to the manager not to hamstring them with more bizarre team selections and substitutions.

Galatasaray had an awful defensive record as well and we were abysmal going forward against them.
Our first port of call should be making sure we keep it to zero at the other end. If you have to bring Endo into the team, or do something with a midfield four of some kind then so be it, just don’t be 1-0 down inside 15 minutes and resorting to desperation tactics on the hour again.

Perhaps Slot should just play the same team as last season whenever he can, exception of the forward and RB of course. We still have majority of the core last season and despite some concerns of the aging team, they played well with each other. Perhaps that would stabilise things and let the newbies blend in.

We beat them 3-0 at home and then went in at half time 2-0 down. I remember listening to that nerve wracking 2nd half on my car radio as I couldn’t settle at home

I just looked up the currency. That 4DM ticket would have cost 51p at the time! (Although it appears to be an under-18s ticket).
That’s basically what he’s done for the last 2 matches and we’ve been shite. I think he needs to start Wirtz for the next 5 games at least, and build the team and system around him

Shoddy German proof-reading! I used to have the vinyl version of Led Zeppelin’s Physical Graffiti album, which was printed/pressed in West Germany. For years, I thought there was a track called “Boggie with Stu”. I had no idea who Boggie or Stu were, and it was only when I bought the CD version that I discovered that it was “Boogie with Stu” and referred to a jam session they had with the Rolling Stones boogie-woogie pianist, Ian Stewart.

There is a difference. I know it’s one player but Kerkez is a weak link now. He leaves alot for VVD to cover because he is at full speed with no directions. Robertson needs to replace him for now. He is slower but he still has a better balance than Kerkez at first look. Our defence will look less stretched.
It would be nice to see VVD do a bit more TBF.
