Was going say he’s having Friday off but he isn’t we are playing.
They changed the day of the press conference (or misprinted it on Wednesday).
There seems to be less in there than usual. I suppose at this end of the season we aren’t waiting on updates about knocks from the previous match.
Anyway, no question about Trent’s contract, which is a blessed relief.

I liked how Slot was getting an early shot across the bow, with regard to unfair officiating. He went into how Gravenberch was harshly suspended for this one, and also gave a couple of examples from the game against Palace - Cody fouled, didn’t exaggerate it, no free-kick, they went on to score; Wirtz fouled, pulled back, he didn’t go to ground, no free kick; we touch them, they go over, ref sees them fall so blows for a foul for the most minor thing.
He basically called out the ineptitude and said that we will continue to go about things the right way.

Good to see real football start. We winning the PL last season earlier than the final games meant this break felt way too long. Hope the lads give it their all.
