Pre Match | Liverpool FC V Arsenal FC (Home) | EPL - 31/08/2025 - 4.30pm

Oh have you watched us win the last 2 PL games? We scored 7 goals in 2 games btw. Yeah we let in 4 but we have maximum points. So should i look at stats or should I believe you are better than that?

Arteta will be pissed off because they’re not winning this game.

Probably take a 0-0 tbh.

Apart from their 300 corners they’ve done fuck all.

no point arguing with him. Even if Liverpool had moved on to alternative targets to Isak, the likes would still complain as to why we didn’t get Isak.

Can’t satisfy someone who doesn’t want to get satisfied.

We need to wake up. Miss our pressing monsters in Jota and Diaz. There’s hardly any pressure from the front 3.
This arsenal team can be get at…we just need to press well in packs and turn on the ball.
We should be winning this …have a go at them please.
No point waiting for the nervy last 15 min and wait for Odergaard and Eze to come in.
Mega team talk from Slot required.

Missed the first half. Back in time for the Ekitike double.

Apart from our zero corners, we’ve done even less.

Go be a miserable prat somewhere else.

keep them away from set pieces and that pretty much nullifies their threat

Yeah…he is supposedly the one who regains the possession for us and pushes us forwards.

Today, he looks nullified…

Tight game. Great buzz on the Kop. Voice gone

I know - don’t feed the trolls and all…

Just need to find a little more consistency in our passing and we will start to dominate. Hard when Arse and others are able to get away with so much grabbing, holding and diving.

We can’t, he turned 17 on Friday

HT 0-0:

Arsenal are closing us down quite effectively, and our lads haven’t found a response to it yet. Our game is a bit sluggish, slow and uninventive. Some players have let us down so far, especially in the advanced positions.

We can only hope that Slot will manage to re-organize things a bit, and encourage his players to release the handbreak and play with more confidence and pace. We definitely can beat them, but we need a super-concentrated performance in the transitional phases while defending, and our players to make a difference when on the ball. Especially the last pass needs to improve massively on our side.

Fingers crossed that we can take these three points today! :crossed_fingers:

Can’t stand this, constantly checking for soft penalties, pathetic. Ultra boring game. Commentary is shit, Gray and some other moron going on ad nauseam every time there is slight holding

We need far more than Isak after our last 3.5 games, but don’t worry lads, Arne is happy with his squad. He’s only been saying the same since day dot.

You can’t fool the fans.

Their best chance was a snap shot from 20 yards. They are “controlling” the game but have done nothing with it resulting in their new expensive striker having fewer touches than any of the 22 starters other than the guy who went off after 5 mins.

The front 3 aren’t pressing per se, as Cody has been closer to the half way line picking up Timber.

I am a little lost in our pressing shape apart thinking we are more midblock.

Such a boring game of football. 90% of our passes are going backwards.

Yeah…I find it so strange that Gakpo is not pressing on his full-back and instead is in no man’s land…
