It’s a bit ridiculous to worry about only being 2-0 up, considering how regularly we’ve fallen behind in the past and only improved in the second half. We could at least see the positive progress instead of always being so negative.
Doesn’t Grealish berating the ref for the (supposed) number of fouls qualify as him asking for Bradley to be carded and therefore deserving of a card in itself ?

Very satisfying first half aside from the usual poor standard of refereeing and Grealish going for the Fallon D’Floor as the early kick off hasn’t given him long enough to sober up yet today.
Now for a half time cream cake as every time they mention Dewsbury Hall I think about having a scone at a national trust cafe.

Real top class from Szoboszlai and Gravenberch so far and very useful contributions fro Ekitikè.
Gakpo looks a bit out of sync and form atm, nothing to concerning however we could do better down the left if he got into passing a bit more rather than running into cul de sacs.

Getting a third goal probably makes them give up. Very important they don’t get a sniff in this game. 2-0 leads with what we’ve done are never comfortable

First 15 second half feels important. Surely Moyes will have them fired up to try to get back into it. Match that, and we should run out comfortable winners.
He’s been through ‘slumps’ like this before so I’m not that worried however it’s held us back somewhat this start of the season. Could have won some games more convincingly with greater productivity from that side.

I think it’s also a bit of a Slot tactic, of holding, controlling, and managing the result, which we’re not very good at yet. I think it’s still unusual for us and maybe doesn’t really suit us.
