Good half, just need to make better of the many good situations we have had, that is with a better final ball or finish
i had a mean response locked and loaded for you @RER, but im in a good mood today…
Spurs with 27% possession real small club stat and no shot on target.
Very difficult half for @The-AllMightyReds, anywhere else is plain sailing.
Seems like we don’t have a set piece coach fullstop
Whenever you say boss I reflexively think of Steve Buscemi.
Hes suffering with our succes this year. Little opportunity to have a moan about everything.
A good half a goal and we have ran them around none stop.
Real talk - when did we last score a goal from a corner?
Well I would have preferred 5-0… but agree solid first half. Got the goal we had to have and they are likely to be a bit more open in the second half which should suit us.
Unrelated, but that Weetabix commercial - didn’t realise the UK was that depressed
Too much on the edge football, very little penetration which in turn leads to very few chances being created.
We’re capable of far better and the players need to step it up, just brutal honesty.
This is a shit Spurs side, run them over.
Oh dear more shite.
Start of season we looked dangerous but its gone by the wayside.
We look more likely to score from Spurs corners than we do from our own
Gakpo finish is a delight.
Szobs corners have been poor. Bradley, Jones or Salah should take it as he has already wasted more than 6 corners
Sure we’ve had days where we have looked better. But if the second half isn’t any better than the first, we win the tie and advance.
I’m totally fine with that.
Most recent that comes to mind (and not necessarily the actual most recent) – Tsimikas → Jota
EDIT: It was the equaliser against Forest on 14 January, I think.
Ibou scored a couple back in September. Im not sure we’ve scored from one since
Edit: Doh, and of course the one @redalways just mentioned
EDIT again: Virgil also scored one in the 2-2 against Arsenal
