I think this shows the strength of the Premier league, we outplayed Real and 1 nil was only down to Courtois.
Loved that performance, midfield were incredible, defence concentrated and forwards irrepressible.
The post game players’ ratings is gonna be tough.

Made up with that. Some great performances from a number of them, and as a whole we were on it and well worth the win. After such a wretched run to then beat Villa and Real Madrid this is just what we needed. Bradley was excellent all night long, prob gets the Motm from me, but 2-3 others giving him a run for his money.
Alonso is a gentleman and a true football man. Still, he’s a competitor and that will sting. But he knows what Anfield can do to a team.
Top marks everyone who was there on the night. The fans were electric.
