Pre-match: Liverpool v Aston Villa, Saturday 20th May, 15:00

Gotta love a fairytale ending

It’s actually an unusual defensive performance. A team who starts out with a commitment to a high line who are then defending in a very organized and resolute fashion when pushed back into their own box.

Emery has got his tactics right today. We haven’t laid a glove on Villa.

Boring cunt.

I have gotta say that I was certain the below used to be the case.

Being offside is not, in itself, an offence. It only becomes one if the player attempts to touch the ball after it has been played forward by a team-mate.

However I cannot find it in previous Laws of the game, therefore you are right.

BTW that is a quote from someone else regarding the offside rule

Holy shit, the trip to Barcelona has tripped us up badly!

I think it’s only the last few years where the rules about a defending player touching the ball have changed that the distinction has become relevant

1-1 Bobby

Lovely Bobby

We just did not get going today. Over the whole season, we never did really look deserving of a CL place. An Europa league place is as good as we deserved.

Who would have thought….every time we have one of these jolly’s in the sun we take at least 3 games to start playing again

Goal

Dont go Bob…dont go…

Bobbbbbbbbyyyyyyy

Sell all the forwards, keep Bobby

turning out last gerrards last home game. bit of nothing…but 1-1

Bobby !!!

Bobby! What an ending for him!

Should be about 30 minutes of added time to find a winner
