I know the reasons, but I think it’s such a shame and completely stupid that we’re not allowed to play in our lovely new Adidas kits today. It was always so special to see the boys in their new outfits at the end of the season.

Crisis averted here. Just checked the TV listings and NBC are only showing the second half 
The reason is because of the Indy 500. If the race is sold out, they will broadcast it locally too, rather than giving a local blackout. The race has been sold out (257,000 seats, and with infield the number goes over 350,000) and NBC is the channel they are going to.
Crap! What about the footy?
Over to Peacock. All the games are streamed live, including LFC v Palace. I hope they have plenty of extended footage so we can enter into the celebrations from afar.
Made up to see Jockey will hand the trophy to Virg. It was utterly shocking to have a childhood hero be so ill recently. Hansen has always looked fit as a fiddle his whole life. Great media career, left on his terms, could have gone into the coaching side, likely starting very high up, but didn’t feel it was right for him.
I hope Hansen feels the love today too. Can’t wait.
