Pre Match - Liverpool V Tottenham Hotspur - 27th April 2025 (Home) - 4:30pm - PL Match day 34

Do we lift the trophy on Sunday if we win? It’s been a long time since the last non-covid lift. I can’t remember when it happens

No we won’t.

It will likely be the Palace game or maybe they will bring it forward to the Arsenal game if we do beat Spurs.

No new injuries but no Chiesa… Just him and Gomez out it seems.

I can’t wait for Sunday’s game😃 Really excited with abit of trepidation. I think the boys will want it done that day.

I can see our TAN site going into overload on match day

Anyone going to Anfield on Sunday?

Only 1 point needed now. But would love to win this!

We’ll win.

Quite easily, I expect. After the pandemic soured the last party to a degree, I imagine the joint will go bananas.

LFC last won the title at Anfield on 28 April 1990, almost exactly 35 years ago…a 2-1 victory over QPR.

Was anyone there?

1 point. Get it done and watch the Arses give us the guard of honour and it will even be better if they refuse to since it’s not compulsory, that will show again the losers they are

I don’t really give a fuck about Guards of Honour tbh, what will be funny is if they’ve been knocked out of the CL on the Wednesday before.

Would love a convincing win, with Mo scoring, so I don’t have to complain what a waste of money he is, how he is shit and has done nothing all season :face_with_peeking_eye:

I was only 7, so it had just started receding.

Perhaps, but i think the way Spurs are set up to play is favourable to us and so is a good side to face and wrap up a relatively easy month of fixtures for us. They dont change their approach much and can be exposed a number of ways from being pressed successfully when playing out from the back or us hitting it long when under pressure.

We’ve already put ten goals past Spurs this season. Unless the occasion gets to the players, this should be a comfortable three points.

But TAN wouldn’t be TAN without a bit of bedwetting.

Really it’s a missed opportunity that there isn’t an official mattress partner at this point.

Sounds like a marriage made in heaven.
