Losing to Barnsley will be very shocking to say the least…

Feeling the pressure?

#glasnerin?

Well I read that as all 1st choice players will be available, but may be benched. At Plymouth, they were all at home in Liverpool and then we were caught short with seasonal illness.

We don’t play again until Saturday, so it would make sense to try and keep players match fit. I wonder if he will try to give some players 45 mins each?

Definitely. I think he learned from last season that supporters think we should try our best to win every game. That way you become the most successful club in British football. :+1:

Rest Virgil and Szoboslai, we should have enough to see off Barnsley especially at Anfield.

Problem with the clamber for the likes of Glasner and the bloke at Bournemouth is.. are they any better? One good season, another with one decent season.

I understand Alonso and Enrique but I really don’t get the clamour for Glasner.

Also he played a weakened side yesterday and lost to Macclesfield.

Slot said everyone who played against Arsenal will be there, but he will see who will start and who will be on the bench. There are not enough players/kids to create a totally different side and it would be dumb also. We might have some 45-45 decisions. If one of them is Szobo/Mac, I’d start with Szobo. Bring his intensity from the start, hopefully we’re in the lead at HT. Then Mac’s control for the latter part of the game.

I think with 5 subs you can be more flexible than you used to but yeah with Bradley out certain players such as Ramsey should be getting time.

Rhys Williams what has happened to him.

Yeah Ramsey has to start this as we may well need him as the season goes on.

One positive is that it’s easier to cover at RB with more fight footed players and outside options than if it was at LB (and hopefully remains that way). The rest, we’ll see. It’s hard to tell how much the coaching staff rates Ramsay.

It seems Ramsay has at last been given the step-up to first team squad, so under current circumstances Barnsley might be a time to take a longer look at him. I love seeing new players get their chance especially if they are promising. That Gio Leoni first game was wonderful to see, right upto the moment a tackle ended it. My single worst moment of this entire season.

Am more of a mind that Slot should treat this seriously. Have a right go and progress to next round.
As I said, fourth and a run in CL and this would salvage a dreadful season.
Also, this is an opportunity to prepare the attack for future games. We have developed control, now we need to start scoring or at least creating chances.
