Pre Match. Liverpool vs Villarreal. CL Group Stage Match 3. Tues 20th October. 2000hrs

Hopefully just that… think we’ve had enough long term ones.

Yeah no doubt. If we can make it to the next International break with no more long-term injuries, we’ll be doing alright. Leoni and Bradley should be back shortly after, and Ekitike is apparently on track to feature in December. All of a sudden our options start to look a lot better, at least on paper.

Saw them lose to Betis the other day.

Moleiro the winger is highly rated and I think the Georgian kid up top is a bit clever, but shouldnt have that much to worry us as a side.

Nyoni and no Wirtz again. comedy gold.

How is it comedy? Wirtz is being rested, Nyoni has earned a spot in the starting XI.

Because he almost never plays them together, despite Nyoni being the CM likely to be most suited to getting the most from Wirtz.

Peter Gulacsi in nets for them. Remember him?

Anyone?

Might be top four if he did

Hopefully Gravenberch shows what he can do going forward again. Bench looks strong too with Barcola Wirtz Isak.

Yeah, I dig the rotation and actually would have liked to have seen him go further and bring Gomez in for JJ. As ropey as our defending has been at time this season, JJ looks an absolute fucking world-beater for the next decade if we can keep him healthy. Would like to see him get some rest tonight - maybe bring Gomez on after 60 mins or so.

Why was Robbie holding the umbrella for Shearer?

And far more egregious…why is Rafa holding the umbrella for Robbie?!

Yea I agree on Jacquet. I think Araujo centre and gomez right back would have worked, but can’t complain it’s nice to have options at the back!
