We shouldn’t fall out over Virg. Anyone overstating (in my opinion) his current level is doing so because of his vast body of stellar work in a Liverpool jersey.
He is is obviously past peak, everyone can at least see that and agree on that.
He is not ready for the knacker’s yard, and he is not the future. Let’s see what the season brings.
