That #7 is fancied as the league’s fastest player. Yet one chance early in the second half to chase the ball in behind Virgil he watch Virgil open his stride and just stopped even trying. Years ago not long after he first signed for us I saw Mane do the same thing on a ball he looked good to win and it was the first time I realized how fast Virgil is and how effortlessly he accelerates and sprints
