You mean the same City that have lost twice this season, and owe a couple of their wins to the refs?
We are just as good as them. We have lost a fixed game at Spurs and dropped points today due to wasteful finishing, which happens.

At least, he ventured into the final third whereas Gomez dithered near the half way line to pass back into the middle…
Its really not about Luton or the low block. It’s entirely about our performance and the surprising decision by the manager to persist with the dross for so long.
Also the decision to play Szobo and Jota for 90mins in the cup
Our midfield didn’t work as usual today. It seems as if they were taken by surprise of how narrow the pitch was and how deep Luton defended. Probably the worst game from Dom and Macca since they came here. Let’s hope they have this game out of the system and get back to “normal” next weekend, can’t afford losing points to Brentford as well
Edit: with no space the passing game have to be top notch, ours just wasn’t today.
To what end? He didn’t do anything other than give silly fouls away or leave us exposed on the counter.
It was a dreadful performance that made us worse but you won’t have it because you don’t like inverted full backs, despite us improving since trying it.
It’s an odd hill to die on.
That’s a little bit harsh on Tsimikas. He wasn’t brilliant but hardly the worst on the pitch. Had some decent crosses when he came on.
Can see why Klopp prefers Gomez, he’s better defensively, but Kostas offer natural width which we did t have with the combo Gomez/Jota
Solves one problem but creates others, hardly the glaring error he’s trying to portray it as.
Yes, on that point we agree👍
