Ryan has the sort of game that thrives on constant movement from his teammates in order to be effective. There has been too much standing around and not enough movement
Narrow pitch, deep defence, no ambition to get past the halfway line in possessio - always tough to break down a team playing like that.
Need to be sharper, some of our passing has been poor compared to our usual standard.
Patience is the main thing though, chances will come.

Honestly, Diaz would have been nice here instead of Jota, not that Jota is playing poorly.
He holds the width better and is more of 1v1 threat. Could do with a bit of that second half if he’s ready to go.

I’m in agreement, some say we are playing too slow, where for me some of our passes are rushed and getting cut out, play with tempo but also a cool head
That inverted RB was meant for TAA to support a struggling Fabinho and Henderson whose passing are not the greatest and lost their pace. Now, we have people that can turn and run and even pass properly as well.
Why the need for this inverted shit especially at the LB???

Jota has made some really good runs. They haven’t paid off, but he’s had a good game. Bit more positivity in other areas and we should go on to win this.
