My fear is if we drop points then the players will check-out mentally and the derby on Wednesday could see those bitter cunts celebrating staying up and putting the final nail in our coffin instead of the exact opposite.
Think McAllister will be rested which will leave us short in midfield. Dom and Curtis just aren’t at the races and it looks like Jurgen has given up on Gravenberch.
Jota has to start and give us a good hour. Failure to score again in open play would be fucking shocking, whoever plays needs to show some conviction to put the ball in the fucking net instead of passing the buck.
We’re better than these. Match them for effort and our quality should come through.

I think today is redemption day for a few players.
There is a stagnancy, a lack of energy and lack of positivity over the last couple of weeks.
We are STILL in a title race, despite the doom and gloom surrounding the team at the moment.
Win today, win Wednesday and City are under pressure. Frankly, Chelsea should have beaten them yesterday and they know it. Brighton could wound them this week. Win both games this week and Arsenal might feel the pressure. Very poor Wolves side could have beaten them last night.
I know that its going to be difficult, but fuck it, I will stay positive until its all over.

Time for my prematch routine. Not someone who’s superstitious but Liverpool generally played well whenever I went for a run. I might be getting to a stage (especially if Liverpool play like they’ve done recently) though.
