I’d like to see Slot try something different here. Maybe put Szoboslai at RB. Persist with Konate, MacAllister, Gakpo and Salah. Starve whoever plays CF of any service. Drop Grav back into defence once it’s gone tits-up.
The worst thing we can do is keep making the same mistakes.
I’ve been saying since the start of the season that last season’s tactics don’t suit this season’s squad that I expected a change in formation to follow the overhaul. Very different profiles of players at our disposal. That change in formation surely has to come now.

I know Slot keeps mentioning that he’s trying new things but to my lesser trained eye it seems as though he’s pigeonholing players into roles that don’t suit them and persisting with others who are massively out of form/ no longer suit the play style of the rest of the squad to maintain last season’s formation and that is very clearly not working. Maybe a more extensive change that is clearer to see for laymen such as myself would be beneficial.
Need to stop the rot, and a lot of my family are west ham so need to avoid the level of bollocks that’ll come out their mouths if they win.
The one top of the list looks to be keeping Arne around in the hope for a miraculous divine’s intervention. That one I’m afraid is very much out of his control.
I’d like to see Endo start. Need more structure at the back.
I’d pump every drug known to man to get Joe through 90mins at centre back also. Chords should start and Rio should probably too.

This is quickly turning into a free hit season, title was over last month, top 4 was over last week, don’t think we’re bad enough to get relegated but you just never know. The best I hope for is that we avoid the ECL, but judging by what I’ve seen, that may well already be the plan. I think we’re on track for our 2nd worse season in our top flight history.
Can’t see how the rot stops here, we’re a broken team. We have 1-2 players in the entire squad, I say “entire”, really its about 14 players, that look like they give a shit.

I don’t think top four is over at all, and it is probably top five rather than top four.
CL places could be top 8 and I’d still say we’re outsiders. We’re only going to fall further away, which we’ve already luckily escaped had we not fluked our way to 2 or 3 last min winners. Fans didn’t want to believe the title was over a few weeks ago…until they did.
No one was brave enough to say we looked a poor side when we were sitting top with 15 points after 5 games, but now we’re 1/3 of the season through that’s all fans have to say. The City’s, Chelsea’s and Villa’s of this world aren’t all going to collapse for us so we can sneak our way up, even then what are you seeing that gives you any belief we could?
