PreMatch | Bournemouth - Liverpool | PL Matchday 27 Saturday March 11th 12:30h | Vitality Stadium

Lost our way after the goal.

Up until then had controlled the game without creating many chances

I like Harvey and Bajcetic as young lads making their way. At that point, they need a midfield kingpin to hold it together. Fabinho, after an uptick in form, isnā€™t giving us enough.

If Henderson isnā€™t injured, I would get him in there, as it needs more energy.

Not a good half, overall, but thereā€™s still plenty of time to get the points.

We need a fast start in the second half, to set about them, and hopefully get level quickly, and then build on that.

and we will lose the midfield battle even moreā€¦

There were a lot of people on here who seemed to think everything was fixed because we won 2 games in a row (both at home).

Same problems that have been evident all season are here again. This midfield is atrocious. Forward line playing as individuals, two centre backs are all over the place.

Same away performance weā€™ve watched all year this, copy and paste.

Bright start. Then mid-way went back to the team that was losing all those games earlier this season.

Headers in the box looks the most likely way to score, so Iā€™d like Darwin to come through the middle. Maybe some experience with Milner coming into midfield will help as well.

With every restart taking 20 seconds, need to get a goal quickly. Jota at 60 mins for heading ability will be good as well.

We donā€™t leave any chance of not making a joke of ourselves ā€¦in the whole league.
:joy:
All the headlines ā€¦ Liverpool trailing 1-0 after scoring 7 against united.
I hope we smash them second half and all these so called memes and all these headlines eat their words.

Turns out Bournemouth is not going for man for man marking and we struggled because our midfield ainā€™t good enough to play its way outā€¦

None.

So thereā€™s a first time for everything.

I expect them to come out like rockets after Klopp bollocking. Donā€™t worry. We will get the three points.

Silly game so far. We are not going to win it without a big change in attitude. Arsenal played them last week and needed to work their socks off to get the result. Really high energy response and a huge attacking effort required. Canā€™t see it so far. Itā€™s tippy tappy stuff and no end result whilst they have been unlocking our defence gor 45 mins. If we get our act together we will win if not this could get embarrassing

change the midfield and we probably win the game

I think weā€™ve looked to pass backward too often. Too few times Harvey and Stefan have looked to carry the ball forward - when they have we look better/less worse. VVD is having one of his entitled games - tough came out of it after the goalā€¦

Jota for one of the front three and Henderson for Elliot - would be what Iā€™d go for at HTā€¦

VVD has won virtually every header in their box. Looks the best route to goal for me. Canā€™t understand why no one is challenging Neto when the ball is making itā€™s way to VVDā€™s head. VVD won a couple of headers into the 6 yard box, but no one followed it up.

Look at our bench, do you see any potential match-winners in the midfield ? Someone in the mould of claude makelele will be immense.

analysis highlighting TAA on that goalā€¦ its like he gets confused on what to do defensively

Good first ten minutes, absolutely terrible since. Completely lost their way in all areas of the pitch. The typical Liverpool away performance this season unfortunately.

Iā€™d look to get Henderson and Jota on at half time. Thereā€™s been too many away games this season in which weā€™ve done fuck all at half time and wasted the chance to claw something back.

Weā€™ve had 1 cleared off the line, had a well made chance (rightly) ruled out for offside, forced Neto into a really good save and put a header wide that was easier to score.

The game needs more control, but the ā€œweā€™re doing nothingā€ criticism is a bit reactionary

Youā€™d take off Elliot who is finding space and getting involved whilst the other midfielder isnā€™ there, baffling?

I feel youā€¦but you have really high expectationsā€¦ considering all season people have been crying about our midfield.
