Totally agree, but I can’t understand any other reason why. Put it this way, if we got Caicedo we wouldn’t be playing Mac as our six right now, he’d be playing alongside Szobo as an eight probably.

It isn’t the defensive side of the 6 role that is hurting us in games it is giving it away with a poor pass or the DM’s ability on the ball, I think that is the 3rd maybe 4th we have conceded by coughing it up to the opposition there

This conversation is wild. That goal was not from his lack of fitness as a 6. It was over his lack of protection of the ball. You know, the sort of thing you expect any midfielder to do better with.

Comllaining none lack of a 6 or Mac’s unsuitability for the role after that goal is a case of deciding we have a problem then blaming that on the dog farting

Need to move Dom deeper. Protect the defence, get us playing. I see why we’re playing him so high up but the game is passing him by at the moment.

When we’ve gone down to ten he’s been ace when dropping back. Don’t wait for Tony to get his cards out, do it now.
