Prematch - Chelsea V Liverpool FC (Away) - 4th May - 4:30pm - PL match day 35

The first halves are a systemic issue that we have had for several years. I think people tire of your framing (that we are awful), because overall, we are still watching the best team in England. Perfection is rare, 2 wonderful Liverpool halves are also relatively rare. But even so, there isn’t a better team. You must make allowances for opposition playing well too.

The all-changed midfield rather highlights why Slot tries to keep some consistency. They haven’t been individually bad, but the lack of team practice does disjoint the team.

That said, after conceding, they have been dominating possession.

Anyway, after the kitten destroyed my old glass during the Spurs game, my wife bought some replacements. Apparently they are thermal and should keep the beer at a stable temperature. It does look a bit weird, though. I wish I’d bought something a bit better than Becks now.

Loving the fume on the BBC live text.

Apparently guards of honour need to be stopped and it’s disrespectful to other teams chasing the top 5 that we’re not playing our best eleven.

So in short, don’t expect respect from other teams but make sure you respect other teams and put their needs ahead of your own.

Eĺliott and Jota are so poor, Mo not much better but we know he can bang in a goal any moment

Too often this season when Mo hasn’t been on it, we haven’t been on it. I really dread to think where we’d have been next season had he (& Virg) left.

John: I find teams making wholesale changes when other clubs have ambitions of prizes on offers really disrespectful. Villa and Forest in particular have been done over by Liverpool’s performance today. Let’s be honest Chelsea have had this handed to them and it’s embarrassing.

Slott showing a lack of respect to the sides competing for the top 5 spots with his line up. I understand the title is won and wanting to give fringe players an opportunity. But changing the entire midfield against a side whose strongest position is the middle is practically handing the points over.

Monk boy

Lavia should have got the card for that.

Does Jackson live offside?

Pretty clear foul on Mo as well prior to it. Mo barely even asks for them anymore
