PreMatch | Everton vs Liverpool | PL Matchday 15 | The last Derby at Goodison

Part 2 of the horror week.

How often did we expect to wipe the floor with them before going to Goodison?

Yeah we aren’t getting 3 points especially without Maca.

A great opportunity to bounce back, given how shite the Bitters are. Only the refs can prevent us winning here.

They’ll try their best, of course, but it’ll still finish 2-0 to the Tricky Reds.

We’ll just have to assess what to do in defence, Trent will probably be able to start, gotta see if Robbo can, because he had some issues tonight.

Without Mac, we’ll just have to pair Jones with Gravenberch and go with Szobo at #10.

I’d go back to Diaz up top in this “normal” rotation of the last few games, plus Nunez did nothing tonight to earn a successive start.

Would be really helpful getting some bodies back soon, although we’ll probably make a number of changes against Girona.

We’ve gotten 3 points without him in other games, what makes this different?

The fact our defence looks likes it doesn’t know it’s arse from its elbow without Konate. Oliver is ref and frankly I think we’re fucked.

We aren’t winning this game simple as that, thanks Real Madrid you evil fucking cunts.

He does have a point. The Madrid and City games took a lot out of us, tonight made things a lot worse and it’s a noon kickoff against a pack of rabid hyenas.

It’s going to be a struggle. Hopefully, we keep mistakes to a minimum and take our chances.

I would consider Endo getting a game.

I agree, however, it looks like AS doesn’t rate him at all.

Some of our lads look gassed. I’d put Joe Gomez at LB, Quansah alongside VVD and Trent is nailed on to start I’d say.
Endo, Szoboslai and Jones the midfield 3 although I fully expect Gravenberch to start again.
Gakpo, Mo and Diaz through the middle.
The only saving grace is Everton are dogshit despite winning last night, they don’t have the physicality or pace that Newcastle have and they are in the same boat as us in playing their 3rd game in 6 days - something they very rarely have to do.
Last Goodison derby, another complete cunt as a referee and bad weather forecast…if I’m honest I’d take a point right now if it was offered.

Is Alisson back? Asking for my football ignorant wife.

For the love of satan just put tonight right on Saturday, there is no better game to do it in.

Agree with everything but this @jaffod. If it was a point with guaranteed no injuries I could perhaps see your point (groan) but, except against a title rival, draws are basically defeats. I’d much rather gamble in the last few minutes of a drawn game to win and end up losing than shutting up shop and taking a point.

Referee: Michael Oliver. Assistants: Stuart Burt, James Mainwaring. Fourth official: Tony Harrington. VAR: Chris Kavanagh. Assistant VAR: Eddie Smart.

Oh FFS. That twat and his peculiar personality. He just wanted one last derby match at Goodison, didn’t he?

I suspect this match will be carnage.
