You know a lot is said about the influence of Guardiola and Klopp etc but actually the influence of Simeone on a lot of clubs is under-appreciated. He is the one who taught everyone that diving, cheating and destroying a game’s rhythm isn’t just something that individual players can do but is an entire strategy.
