its off apparently
No official statement yet but the Echo and the Athletic are carrying that story.
The only sane choice. I had a message from my brother who is a postie and he said that they could barely stand up in the wind.
The last thing anyone wants is another stadium disaster.
Itâs blowing dogs off chains down here in Croydon. Hopefully City get held.
Difficult to say whether this is good or bad. Some of our lads really need a week off, 6 or 7 out with injuries or suspension and would have been playing in conditions that would have been a real leveler.
On the other hand the blueshite arenât used to playing 3 games in 6 days so that could have worked to our advantage.
On balance I think itâs best itâs off.
Sorry for everyone who had tickets, especially if theyâd travelled, but itâs good news for us. A much needed rest for the likes of Robbo and Virgil, and more time for others to recover from their injuries.
Great for me as I was looking at getting five hours sleep (not enough for me).
Reschedule to the last game at Goodison when weâve won the League.
considering im the south east and we werent meant to get much of it the weather is really bad. cant see my daughters semi final taking place tomorrow
give eveyone a proper rest and put out kids v girona
Wonât happen. Slot doesnât seem to work that way.
Rescheduling to February should be a reasonable choice as we will be unlikely to be involved in CL playoffs. Letâs make sure we get a result in Girona and make that a certainty.
Unfortunate, but resting some legs right now with our current injury situation is helpful.
Sounds good to me. Will be the only time their stadium sees a title presentation
Agreed. Can play a strong wife against Girona and make space for this game in Feb. Given the Anfield return is in April, donât want this game in April/May if it can be avoided.
Iâm sure sheâs a cracking player, but can we stick to our squad?
Sheâs actually even more useless than me, god love her. Have no fucking idea how autocorrect smuggled wife into that sentence!
Itâs a buggerâŚthat autocorrectâŚbut lets see how much damage/improvements this storm delivers at the old tin shack.
