Echo what others have said…an unexpected break for our lads who have had a tough run of fixtures.

I dont however expect any favours from the PL or media here. The match will prob be arranged at a time inconvenient to us, with our team prob having to play after 3 days whilst everton will be rested.

It’s a good opportunity for us to regroup and get ready to go again in the Xmas period.

They called the storm Darragh just so that Jones could pronounce it without difficulties.

And i thought mine was bad!
On to la Liga. Common Las Palmas!!

Got up early - for a Saturday - to watch it, and saw it was postponed. Can’t go back to bed, coffee made, dogs up and about. They are reshowing the Newcastle v Liverpool game over here, ugh! Apart from a determined Mo Salah second half intervention, there’s not a lot I want to be reminded of in this one.

By the sounds of it, it is the right decision to postpone. You have to keep people safe, and if the winds are so high injuries could easily happen, or worse if something big is dislodged and comes down, then a postponement is the right decision.

Like everyone can see, the timing helps us, as we are knackered and carrying injuries. It doesn’t necessarily follow that it will be rescheduled at a great time, as there’s not much space in the football calendar, especially for teams who compete in Europe and show up for the domestic cups too. Still, I’ll take it as we regroup.

Still sitting pretty at the top after the weekend having not played? I suppose I can live with that.

I took off the whole week.

With Everton not being in European competition, that could present 11/12 & 18/19 February 2025 as potential dates for the diary.

The next free week date in the diary then would be 22/23 April 2025 which would put the fixture right at the business end of the campaign.
