Midfield isn’t helping either to be fair, like that moment from the GK - he takes it around Son looking for a pass and everyone is just looking at him so he ends up lifting it out of play.
No control. But then we rarely have with Jones in MF.

Aside from the fact our midfield control has been excellent for most of this season with Jones playing.
We have 5 players we trust to play 3 positions and we’ve been playing every three days. It’s not that the players can’t do it, it’s just a tough part of the season.

Just want to say I am very glad Quansah is playing. We all know there is a very good player there. He did so well last season.
This season has been different story so far - roughed up a bit on day one, subbed at half time, and one or two unlucky mistakes in the limited time he has had since then. It has made him a bit more jittery, understandably.
He is young, and there is a very good player there. Just needs some support, and more importantly, the chance to play and get his groove back. This is all part of that process.

Four games in a row for this midfield and it looks a bit leggy, we miss Big Dom’s energy. A bit surprised Elliott wasn’t given a start tonight.
