Mental line up that. If you’re not even going to start Endo in a game like this to give Grav a modicum of rest then you may as well just sell him.
No Nunez also seems a mad shout given he’s banned for the Forest game anyway.
I guess the only rationale would be to hope that we pretty much put it to bed tonight and then can rest most of them for the Accrington game and then again for the second leg.
The ball looks fine. I was expecting a 99p flyaway from the newsagents.
I think for old times sake, they should play with one of those orange Mitres made out of heavy, reinforced bakelite and sandpaper. None of these nice leather caseys for those wimps.
Just put it on my iPad at my desk. Paramount+ app for the win. Get in.
I am surprised by the strength of the line up. I don’t really understand why Endo and Nunez aren’t playing, and I would have also played a couple more kids.
This is way down the list of our priorities, but you would have to think Spurs will give it their all to get the final, as winning silverware could give Postecoglu a lifeline.
Our line up sort of has me wondering if there are any possible January deals in the pipeline? Probably not, but I can’t get my head around not seeing Endo or Nunez in the side.
Edit:
Gravenberch has become such an important player in that midfield that it seems misplaced to keep playing him. Does Slot know Zubimendi or Tchouameni are inbound in January? What is going on?!
