We are packing the midfield so that means 9, compared to the usual 6, in a line at the edge of our box when defending with Ekitikè in midfield to collect any clearances.
Let’s hope we don’t need to defend.

The line-up looks very fluid, but AS seems to want to pack the midfield keeping it narrow to stop Brighton scoring any goals, or first one at least. That team is to smother Brighton and for building up our confidence… It would be a disaster if he put a side out that would leave gaps to be exploited too easily… Imagine if we went one or two nil down early on in the present climate… the crowd would bring the roof crashing down…!
To me AS is erring on the side of caution, which means he might have learned a lesson from our raggedy last couple of months.
Predicted 3-1 earlier… might stretch it to 4-1 :0)
