City cheated their way to a 6-0 win so this means we have to score legitimately within 6 minutes or else the title race is truly over, I’m just not sure who it’s over for.

Another game where some think all we have to do is turn up.
We should win comfortably but we never do anything the easy way.

Agreed. For some teams (Utd, Everton, etc) they treat playing us as their cup final. Somehow their players play the game of their season, their goal keepers make world class saves and refs allow them to wrestle our players to the ground resulting in yellow cards for us.
But, if we show up and not be complacent, we should win.

That happens every week, not just against the likes of Manchester United and Everton, and is, in my opinion, the main reason why we suffer so many injuries.
Most people were saying that we “ran out of steam” towards the end of last season (and in 2021-22), but the cumulative effect of persistent fouling over the course of the season has to be to the detriment of our players in the long run.

Predicting cricket scores is daft for two reasons.
Firstly, it’s sets you up for disappointment. Even a good win feels flat, because it isn’t what you were hoping for.
Secondly, blitzing teams six nil isn’t what Slot’s Liverpool do. The equivalent of that for us is being two up on half time and controlling the game by passing it around, exerting as little energy as possible.
